Alberta employers, managers, and supervisors can receive the precise training they need from the Manufacturers’ Health & Safety Association (MHSA). For example, we can tailor our training to the specific types of injuries that may occur at your work site. Plus, our course supports you in complying with applicable legislation.

Course Description

Intermediate First Aid (formerly Standard First Aid) meets the Alberta Government approved comprehensive First Aid and CPR training requirements for adults. Participants will learn skills including recognizing and treating for shock or unconsciousness, coping with non-breathing casualties, choking emergencies, treating wounds and broken bones, and managing eye injuries, burns and environmental illnesses. In addition, CPR training and automated external defibrillator (AED) training and certification are provided - all in just 2 days!

*First Aid Certification is valid for a 3-year period from the date of successful training.
