Basic First Aid CPR-C & AED

The MHSA is currently following all AHS guidelines and jurisdictional bylaws to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors

In your workplace it is critical to have supervisors on the ground who are trained in coping with emergencies. Your employees can receive all the training they need through a comprehensive Basic first-aid course. This is offered in Edmonton & Rocky View areas, as well as throughout Alberta for manufacturing companies who can benefit from the specialized training offered by the MHSA, which is designed specifically for industry workers.

Course Description

In this 1-Day Basic First Aid course (Formerly Emergency First Aid), participants will learn the following:

  • CPR and choking for adults

  • shock and unconsciousness

  • severe bleeding

  • head & spinal injuries

  • major medical conditions

  • AED training and certification

You’ll receive a certificate valid for three years with our first-aid training. Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer area employees and other participants are recommended to receive refresher courses on CPR every year.
